We want to make it convenient for you to see your doctor as early as possible. At the same time, please call us at least 48 - 72 hours in advance to book a suitable time slot that suits you. For your convenience, you can book your appointments up to 30 days in advance of your visit by contacting us by email or over phone.
Please provide us your preferred time of your clinic visit and our receptionist will be able to offer you an apt appointment for you. If you have any special needs please notify the receptionist and she can coordinate your requirements and then notify you once your appointment has been scheduled.
If it is your first visit to our Arka, it would be better if you could plan your visit in the morning. Since we have a fully equipped hormonal lab on site we will be able to analyze your blood work-up immediately. Most reports will be ready while you wait which approximately takes around 1 hour. If you come fasted early in the morning to our center, our well-trained staff will be able to guide you to facilitate your visit efficiently.
On arrival you will be requested to complete a patient registration form with your personal details. Please ensure you fill in the form completely so that we can contact you in case if need arises. Please also ensure you give at least 2 telephone numbers for contact.
Remember to carry all your previous medical records, prescriptions, X-rays and scans when you come for your clinic visit. Carrying your current medicines that you have been advised for your current illness is advised. Please remember to bring them with you to your scheduled appointment.
After registration formalities you will be seen by a member of our team, who will take a detailed medical history from you. Following which you will see your specialist doctor who will examine you thoroughly and advise you on the further course of management. Your own specialist doctor will confirm treatment plan after he reviews your history, examination and investigation reports. He will also advise you on further follow-up arrangements to be done at the center. If your GP or specialist refers you, please do not forget to collect your professional opinion letter for your doctor.
If you are an international patient you will need a passport for yourself and your partner for travel. Depending upon the country you are traveling from, you may or may not need a visa for entering India. Please book your onward and return flight tickets based on the number of days your doctor has advised for treatment in India. An open return ticket would be a better option until your treating doctor can give you a fixed time schedule. Always keep a few cushion days to meet any emergencies. Once you decide to get treated in India, keep your local GP or specialist informed about the same so that you can continue your follow up locally when you get back home.
Payment is expected at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Payments are accepted as cash or credit cards. Senior citizen discounts available and please enquire at the reception.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by calling our reception with your hospital number, specialist name and the time of your appointment. We will able to use the same slot for a needy patient who would benefit from urgent medical care. Call ahead if you're running late to ensure our staff is aware. In most cases we are flexible and happy to accommodate. But if you have missed your slot you may have to wait until pre-booked patients are completed. If you are very late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
